First Holy Communion

What you need to know -The preparation classes for 1st┬áHoly Communion will resume in September. Candidates would normally be from year 3 and must be 7 years old by the time they make their 1st┬áHoly Communion. All candidates must provide a valid baptismal certificate. Although the classes, which are run by our parish catechists, are primarily for the children, parents are expected to play a supportive role during the preparation period. First Holy Communion Mass will be on Sunday 18th October at 1.30 pm; classes run after Mass on Sunday’s beginning Sunday 6th September; the children’s 1st Confession will be of Friday 2nd October at 6.30 pm – the Feast of the Guardian Angels.
